Professional Experience

Christopher Zbigniew Poole is a professional architectural project desinger. This portfolio showcases both professional and academic examples of his work. The portfolio aims to display Chris's architectural abilities from the past and in the present.

Chris's professional experience has focused primarily on commercial architecture, with involvement in a wide range of project types including K–12 schools, office fit-outs, retail stores and restaurants, DGS work, retirement homes, and multipurpose apartment developments.

These projects have strengthened his skills in all phases including early schematics, design development, construction documentation, and consultant coordination, while also deepening an appreciation for how architecture can positively shape the communities it serves.

Originally from Poland, Chris had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe from a young age and developed a strong appreciation for the architectural works of Poland, Italy, and Germany.

These early experiences fostered a deep respect for design that balances history, culture, and functionality. His inspiration continues to be drawn from travel as well as from the natural world.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys hiking, biking, camping, climbing, fishing, and hunting—activities that reinforce the importance of designing spaces that harmonize with their surroundings.
